My design process usually consists of sketching out some ideas to see where to begin before starting on the digital version. If there's a lot of requirements or specifications, like this project shown below, I write out the specs on the page so I can organize my thoughts and see the requirements while brainstorming. This project shown was done as a joint effort with the packaging majors at Cal Poly, SLO for the AICC (Association of Independent Corrugated Converters) competition in 2013. The packaging students designed the structure and each group in my packaging design class was assigned a structure.
