Dine Line is a mobile app idea that I came up with for my mobile application class. For the quarter, each student had to come up with a mobile application idea and design the UI/UX of the idea. Dine Line is a mobile application that helps the user take the guesswork out of how much time it takes to wait for a restaurant to seat you. It shows the user nearby restaurants and the amount of time estimated that you would have to wait in line. The final icon was chosen as the most positive one out of four icons that I conducted in a survey. The main four features of the app are 1. listing nearby restaurants, 2. a search bar for location/distance, type of food, price range, and wait time, 3. a reservation system (place in line, updates, wait time), and 4. sharing (check-ins, sharing with text message, Facebook, Twitter, and Yelp).
