Blueprint Wall & Colored Salt in Anping
Being in Tainan for so long, I also visited other places within the city, such as this interesting place that sold different colored salt- one color for each day. This place was located in the Anping District of Tainan. My cousin and I bought a salt-covered boiled egg to crush and eventually eat- we used a wooden mallet to break off the salt shell to get to the egg inside.
Another place my cousin took me to was this place called Blueprint Bar because it was closing soon. No, we didn’t go for the actual bar, in fact, we didn’t go inside at all. It was the outside that everyone was interested in. It was so hot that day but that didn’t stop numerous people from standing in the sun, taking pictures of the wall. I was one of those people that day- the exterior of the building is like a blueprint, which was what everyone's attention was focused on. I flew back to the U.S. shortly after my visit there, saying goodbye to Taiwan until my next visit.
